I've exported data into Excel, and each record takes up two rows.

How can I sort these records, and maintain the relationship of the data?

In this case, I simply want to sort by record date...but need the multi-line data to maintain it's grouping...

Thanks!

I strongly recommend that you convert your data to be one row per record.

If that's not possible, you are going to have to populate a column with the key value/sort value in order to keep related records together.

Cheers, Glenn.

Gottcha...no option on the export side, so won't be fun...

Thanks for the quick reply...!

"no option on the export side"

You may be correct. However, if this were an ongoing issue, I'd be looking for the source data, the program that produced the report etc in order to manipulate the data myself in the way that I wanted.
