Sorting by a number field in a report

I want to sort by a number field [wldno] on a report, but it ends up like this

how can I order so that it will no just order by the first number and will order by all.

Your field is a text field and is sorted as text. Convert it to a number then it will sort correctly.

I had already tried it, but it did not change the problem.

OOPS...
when I deleted the sorting and grouping items, then re-added them, it worked....go figure.

Must have something to do with it originally being a text field and then having changed it to a number field.
