Sorry - pressed wrong key !!! oops
Motherboard is Chaintech 6AJA4/G100 VIA 694X + 686B single bios CMI 8733/6ch Socket 370
S/N: C 0103066623
operating system is Win NT 4.0
Program is called BRAKE.
If I install windows 95 program still does not print the graph - however if I load the VIA 4 in 1 drivers on reboot it works and prints correctly.
If I go back to Win NT 4.0 and load the VIA drivers it does NOT print correctly.
It seems The VIA updates 3 drivers in Win 95 but only onre in NT 4.0.
By loadng drivers one at a time in Win 95 we found that the VIA atapi system driver was the one that cured the problem in Win 95 but this does not get loaded in Win N 4.0.
It looks like one of those rare? situations that sometimes occur - whereby a particular motherboard chipset (VIA in this case) Windows NT4 and the software (program "Brake"
produce this odd problem.
Have given user a different PC (that does not use VIA chipset)
Neither Chainteck UK, VIA or Program writers have been able to sort problem - ho hum!!!
