I have just installed a Sony DVD-DDU1211 instead of my "old"
Fujitsu DVD (8xSpinbird). In the same PC (PIII 700 MHz) I
have installed a SONY 8/4/32 CD Rewriter. With the Fujitsu
DVD as reader I could copy EVERYTHING incl. PSX-games, now
with the SONY DVD as reader I can copy everything EXCEPT
PSX-games!!! - I know that SONY in their Minidisc products
has made limitations in order to make only ONE copy of any
audio-CD. COULD IT BE!! - that SONY has made some sort of
PSX-protection in the DVD-DDU1211???

Quite possibly, they do after all own the psx, and take care of all their own copy protection.

Surely you don't expect Sony to made a drive that would allow you to duplicate some of their OWN products, so that you don't have to give them money?
