SonicWall(MCAfee) and Excel problems

I've been having a problem to run Excel on WinXP with
SonicWall(McAfee) installed on workstation
Excel runs very slow and save a workbook takes very long time
I know for sure that SonicWall cause the problem
when uninstalled virusScan it works just fine
Any ideas ?
