Sometimes is better to use Word, isnt it?

It saves time. A lot of time.

Or try spending another 20 hours manually (!!!) inserting footnotes in Quark. And when you are finished just pray, that corrections will not fu*** up your doc...

Hey, it is easyer to make the doc in word and write down manually only the separations :)

I know, you will argue there are many thing that cannot or are difficult to be done in word.

But if you put 300 pages with footnotes in Quark in one hand and the same doc in Word in the other... I must say it is worth of thinking.

I would agree it is better to use word for text, and then Quark for laying it out. If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.
