I need some kind of software installed on the network which is going to show me configuration, spec and installed software on every computer in domain. I cannot be hassled to check each computer separately every time... So if there’s something on the market – please let me know!!

You don't specify cost at all, so I would suggest some of the products that Belarc offers.
They have a free one called Belarc Advisor that will give you that information on one PC, but it appears that BelManage may be what you're looking for.
