Some Crystal 8 formatting help please

Crystal 8.

Upgraded system to Win 2k and now with new printer drivers the cheque needs updating.

I have adjusted most fields but now have an error message on each print that says my header or footer is larger than a page.

I've reached the limit of my knowledge about Crystal formatting...is it something simple I'm missing?

I've gone back to a slightly adjusted previous version to get us over the hump.

I'm almost embarrassed to tell you what I did to fix the error. As I suspected...it was something simple.

The subreport which printed on the page footer was the culprit. The font was too large and so was forcing the header to go past the page end.

I adjusted the field font from Courier Western to Arial Western and reduced the font size to 9pt. Once I'd tightened up the white space around the fields of the subreport and reduced the bottom page margin, the report prints perfectly!

Why do error messages have to be quite so ambiguous????
