Customers wanting VMPro database and Visual Basic Scripting for use with Windows OS deployments will purchase Preferred Edition to obtain these capabilities."
What! No extra fee? Christmas came early this year
Kind regards

Don't go counting those chickens. They claimed the IP Office was "too much value" and came up with the essential edition licence to remedy that situation, they can always put the price of VM Pro up again
Also I heard the uc module will be redesigned as well with no software loaded on it from day 1 so customer will have to use the iso image for this software install
...and then eBay will have a good stock of v1 chassis for the ones not going anywhere.
For once, everyone should be happy then.... (yeah, like that's gonna happen in my lifetime)
I wonder what will happen to the 500v1's with an IPOSS contract. New chassis for free?
Hah! They outsmarted themselves again!
Kind regards
Gunnar

With the degree of change of how the applications communicate with the switch in 9.1 I'm surprised that mixing with anything pre-9.1 hasn't been declared a no go.
