I have a Solaris server running NIS and yp. I am adding a Linux machie to the network and want the mounting of /net/machine/export/home to work the same as Solaris.
Because there are a number of machines on the network, I want the directories on the Linux machine to be automounting.
This way, when the yp database is updated, the most I need to do is restart the automounter on Linux, or reboot to see the changes.
Any ideas how to get linux to automatically accept the ypcat -k auto.direct as well as ypcat -k auto.home correctly?
Thanks
