I have a Sun Fire vt100, but there is no SVGA card to it. It has other plugs, I am not sure how I can tty to it....

Can someone help?

What about the Enterprise 250 (Purple box). I have a serial cable, and an adapter...can't seem to HyperTerminal it.

Got any suggestions?

The Docs for the Enterprise 250 is at:

Does you E250 have a video board installed. If so, the NVRAM settings for "input device" and "output device" will be set to keyboard and screen respectivly.

The E250 also as a Remote System Control Port that may have been used.

Yes. I have that same doc but no luck from there. the E250 does have a video board installed, but I have no keyboard or mouse.

How do I use the Remote System Control Port?

I have an old E250 but never used the RSC feature. There is a software package that is include on the supplemental CD.

Sorry Mag... Most likely your NVRAM is set up for keyboard and screen. I have no idea what you can do from here other than getting a keyboard and monitor.

Well, I DO have other keyboards and mouses, but the problem is if I pull the keyboard the system will goto the "OK" prompt.

Is there a way I can disable this?

From Thread thread60-791349

Edit /etc/default/kbd
Uncomment line containing KEYBOARD_ABORT=disable
Save File

Then run kbd -i

This will disable suspend mode when removing the keyboard or reboot is necesssary.
