Solaris error after changing ip address

I have just used ifconfig utility from command prompt to change ip address, netmask and broadcast address on Sun solaris ver 8.
I now get "unable to resolve node name" error message.

Is there a user freindly tool that allows me to reconfigure host easily and simply?
