I am relatively new to XP Pro. I support some new IBM Netvistas that are in a factory production environment. The employees have been playing the games rather than doing their jobs. In the past, on 2000 & NT machines, I would uninstall or just delete the games, especially sol.exe. When I delete the files on the XP machines, they reappear a few seconds later. I can even uninstall them, the files will be gone...go to Start >> Run type in sol.exe and not only will the game run, the file will reappear....%#$@~$%$$
What can I do to make these files go away for good? I have a "sol.exe" that is a vb exe that I created that writes to a log file when someone tries to run the game. It works great under NT or 2000 but if I put it on one of the XP machines, it will be overwritten by the real sol.exe if someone tries to run the game....&$#@$ A+, N+, MCP
