SOHO 4.2 (4) defualts itself 1

Hi there,
I have an Small office 4.2 (4) with embedded voicemail. Once a week it defaults back to it's default configufation. Any thoughts on this?

Was the unit stepped up the correct loader when upgraded?

not sure what would be causing it but i would DTE it, then retype the config from scratch

Thanks for the replies. I called tech support and they said they have had some problems of that sort before. I am going to send a monitor trace to them and the config as soon as it happens again and Avaya would send a special build for that problem. This happens when it reboots(unsheduled) every so often. I will let you know what I find on this. He did suggest an upgrade also to 4.2 (14).

saw this on 3.2 but it was when you rebooted changes in, not just on its own

OK, I went on site and ip office was at 4.1 (9) not 4.2 (4). I had told you wrong when I posted this. So I upgraded it to 4.2 (4). Then the ip office started rebooting every 3 or 4 minutes. And every time I plugged my laptop into lan 2,3 or 4 of the ip office it would reboot Immeadiatly. So I down graded the phone system to 3.2 (999) then upgraded to 4.1 (15). Right now everything is working fine (back to normal. I set up monitor on one of their computers and running it to see what happens. Before, it would revert back to default config after one week. That is the status so far I will let you know if problem is resolved or not.
