Sorry my message was truncated

I want to buy software to manage the performance of my 20 sql servers 2000.

There are lots of peices of software out there to show you where the problems are. Fixing the problems are for the most part up to you.

Spotlight for SQL Server by Quest Software is a very good product. It's a real time only (for the most part) product. Meaning that you have to have it open on the screen for it to collect data. They also have an Enterprise Product call foglight will runs as a service and collects data 24x7 for historical reporting. Last time I spoke with Quest spotlight came with Foglight when you purchase the SQL Agents for Foglight.

Spotlight is on of the better products.

Embaradero's DBArtisan is a good tool for performance tunning and capacity analysis.
