I am using Group policy to manage users with folder redirection / fixed desktop and shortcuts provided by using desktop redirection to a folder called staff or pupil loaded onto each machine ( I have done this to allow differention in different areas (dependent on the type of use the pupils or staff require ) ie: maths progs in maths areas tech in tech etc)This also allows me to have machines that are slower and with small hard drive to have fewer programs.)the wallpaper is loaded from the server again dependant on the type of user Staff (mainly red)Pupils (mainly green) this is so I can see at a glance if some one is on the wrong type of desktop (staff getting all the goodies! It was all going fine untill I tryied this software thingy in group policy and now.... Any Help please
