Our office is getting several servers from another location, and we are moving to Windows 2003 Server. We intend to implement Active directory. We use VPN's to support various customers and have a VPN (Cisco) for our field reps and reps that work out of thier home to reach our resources in the office. So do we need to turn DHCP and DNS off the 2003 server and use the router for assigning IP's and name resolution? Then we need to consider our VPN, we put that on the server "A" and someone wants to Remote Desktop into server "B". We would like to to be able to hit the various servers from outside the office, using our VPN, with out having to worry about IP addresses. I want to connect to the VPN and remote desktop to a name verses an IP. And as I said before we use various VPN's to support our customers, so we also need to get out with out any problems. Any suggestions on the setup?
