Software Loop Back on 1720

I was wondering if someone could tell me the commands for doing a software loopback to csu/dsu and the smartjack on a router, more specifically on a 1720....

router1(confi)#interface (your interface)
router1(confi)# loopback

I assume this command would allow me to loop back to the csu/dsu. Do i use the same command with different parameters to loop back to the smartjack.

Smartjack or the NIU if theres a loopback on the circuit you should see it anywhere on the span. Call your Advance Network Service ( ANS ) who provides the circuit, if its a PPP then have someone on the other side. Your local Telephone company can do an intrusive test and loopup the csu/dsu on both sides. Jeter@LasVegas.com
