Software History?

Where did Software history go to and how can i get it back? Third party tool I suppose. Any thoughts or ideas out there?

All the SMS data is stored in a SQL Server database and is accessed through Admin Console queries or other WMI/ODBC interface.

Where are you looking for software inventory?

I am viewing the software info using resource explorer. with 1.2, there used to be software history (now only hardware history) along with software. my boss wants a record of what has been installed/uninstalled on the machine by comparing the two.

Sorry, I misread your first posting. SMS 2 does not have software history in the database. I can't help you here :(
