Software/Hardware Inventory of non-networked client

Hello,

Most of our proposed SMS clients are LAN/WAN connected but a few are standalone PC's.

If we prestage the client can we just create a suitable SMS ID on the server and manually run sinv.exe & hinv.exe from the client and copy the resultant files back to the server via zip disk or some other manual method.

Thanks for any help or experince anybody can provide.
