Software Died

I had Dreamweaver 2 on my PC for about a year, worked fine.
Then the other day I loaded Dreamweaver UltraDev 4. I went to update my Home page like I always do in D-2 and the software totally blew up. I open the index page through the file menu as usually, but after it loads up, I go to scroll down the page and I get all Lines__________________________ and smearing of objects on screen. Nothing works. So then I try pulling up the html page in D-4 and again, same results.
Anybody know what's going on here. Thanks in advance. Jack

A few questions I guess.

First, Mac or PC.
2nd, Did you install a dreamweaver upgrade or full version.
3rd, did you uninstall D2.
4th, are we talking about the d4 demo
5th, have you tried downloading a file you have made - into a separate newly created folder than opening it up in UD4?
