Softphone problem

when a call is made on an i2050 phone the user on the other end says that it sounds like I'm in a tunnel..
Any suggestions

check the audio setting, i have the setting on 7 on the phone and on the smart cord.(if you are using one). Does the headset have the noise filtering attachment on the mic?

I think I got it working right.. I adjusted the Automatic Gain control and wow what a difference. My audio was on 10 and I bumped it down to 6 1/2 and it sounds pretty good.
