Soft console Hold issue

Recently installed Soft Console.. Everything works fine except one problem. When placing people on hold and trying to pick the caller back up there is a 12 to 18 second delay before we can hear each other..

Has anyone else run into this?

S8500 with 3.1 Comm mgr.
Soft Console 1.5.3

Any help appreciated.

Are you using call master 6 or IP connectivity to the Avaya?
