Socket Error

Hi,

I installed python 2.4 on win xp and have been getting intermittent errors when trying to start it or run my code.

The error messsage is Sockt Error:Connection refused (Idle subprocess error).

Another window then says it may be a firewall blocking the connection. I have disabled my firewall and still this error occurs every so often. Anyone experienced this at all?

It's not really so much a Python problem, is it? You may try asking on a windows forum, they may be of more help.
