Is the Socket 370 the same as the Socket A socket. I have an AMD Athelon 850Mhz that I want to test. The only motherboard I have to try it on has a Socket 370. It looks like it will fit...should I give it a try?

Nope, you'll blow it up. Cheers,

SocketA = Socket462 (I think thats the right number)

SocketA is intended for AMD Thunderbird, and AMD Duron ONLY Karl Blessing aka kb244{fastHACK}
