Hi All

We have a IPO 412 with 2 PRI's to the outside world

I just purchased a So8 module (ISDN) to allow us to hook up a broadcast Audio device (Similar in practice to a VC Unit)

I need to make inbound and outbound calls to this unit but I do not understand shortcodes well enough to make the changes

Audio unit has 2 isdn ports and can use 1 to 4 b channels on both ports (RJ-45) and I know the Unit and the So8 can successfuly communicate

So8 module shows up as 801 to 808 in the line group in manager

1. I need to route 4 DID numbers to the 4 B channels
2. I need to allow the 4 B channels (2 ports) to dial out on my PRI's (PRI's are line group 0)

Thanks in Advance for any help!!!

Larry

1) change the og line group on 1 of the So ports to match its neihbour, (this will bond all 4 channels together)

2) create a short code simmilar to this

SC: 666 (or whatever fits in with your system)
TN: .
feature: Dial
Line group id : The OUTGOING line group Id of the So8 port(s)

3) create incomming call route(s) with a destination of 666

when the ddi is rung it will triger the short code, ring one of the channels on the So8 module & forward on the DDI digits recived from the network (this is why I use "." in the TN field )

Thanks IPGuru!!

I got it working WHoooo WHooooo!!

Outbound fails to connect about 20% of the time but if you hang up and dial again it will connect

Not sure whats causing this but not really a major issue

Thanks again

Larry
