snoop doesn't work properly!

I tried running
Code: 
snoop -o /tmp/testSnoop -x 0 myIP
on a machine which is on the same subnet as myIP.
Unfortunately, only traffic outbound from myIP and not inbound to myIP is snooped!

what do i need to do so that everything is snooped?
