SNMP Config on CUCM5 version 5.0.4

Can anyone advise on SNMP config for CCM5?

I have enabled the SNMP service, added a community string and trap destination to send traps to a trap receiver application for testing but I'm not seeing traps generated when I stop ccm service or unplug a couple of phones, which I assume should generate a trap. I have a small CCM5 test lab with 5 phones connected but no gateways, etc.

I do see trap when I restart the server, but assume this is a hardware trap rather than a trap from CCM application.

Would also appreciate any advice on the best ways to force generation of snmp traps so I can test as fully as possible.
