I have Sniffer Pro 4.5, and when I put on a 450, the ART (Application Response Time) works fine...I think it's because it's a layer 2 switch, but when I put it on the 8600 (Layer 3) everything else works fine but the ART....Any suggestion....

Thanks

If you dont have an enhanced blade on the 8600 then you are only seeing traffic one way. (Ingress traffic) The way to tell if it is enhanced is if the model number ends with an E. W/O seeing 2 way traffic the ART fuction will not work. My suggestions are what I would try myself. If incorrect, I welcome corrections to my knowledge.

But is there anyway to remedy the situation without changing the blades

The way we have been getting around it is by temporary putting the connection into a 450 switch and mirroring the port. Nortel has told us that the only way is to replace the blade.
