Snapshot Viewer wants to reinstall every time

Hi. Couldn't do a search to see if there is a solution already here but.

Got a couple of machines running windows XP, sp2, and can't open snapshot files.

Each time I try, I it wants to install the viewer, and have to hit ignore about 20 times because of various errors. Finaly gets through, and still fails, though it says it installed.

Later, try opening again, and you start all over.

I downloaded the most recent version from Microsoft also, and same thing.
