I have the problem of moving SNA servers form a NT4.0 domain model into an Active Directory single domain model. How do i autorize the users in this scenario?

You don't say whether you are coming from an evironment with sponsor connections only.

Active directory simply tells your client, based on the OU names you sepcify, which SNA servers can take your connection.

Did I answer the right question?

moving from an old NT4.0 domain using domain user accts to authorize access. Does that help?

Are you upgrading the server to HIS (Host Integration Server)? We are and have upgraded SNA servers from NT to Windows 2000. Can you upgrade to windows 2000 first without the active directory features and then upgrade to the current Host Integration Server product which supports active directory and includes excellent documentation on how to do this.
