SMTP Voicemail>Email event ID

Good morning,
Just upgraded to 3.2 on a 406v1 on a Windows XP SP2 PC and the SMTP Voicemail 2 email has stopped working. I have a valid SMTP server setup, but in the Windows event I get when leaving a voicemail:

Where can I enter a valid from address in the IP Office config in Control Panel or Voicemail Pro app? If I click the Test button from the IP Office SMTP Server applet in Contol Panel I don't get any errors. This was working with 3.1.65.

OK I fixed it. In the IP Office config in Control Panel, Email settings tab, instead of choosing the account using the browse button, I typed the SMTP email address of that account. I can't remeber if I did this the last upgrade.

Thats interesting to know. I had that issue and Avaya recognized it as a bug. It didn't happen on all server-based operating systems that were domain attached. If I rebuilt the server and bound it back to the domain, the problem went away.

Avaya eventually fixed it in an up-issue of 3.1's VM Pro software.

Its nice to know you found what it was, because it made no sense. In our case, it would send one (maybe 2 ) e-mails, then fail with the error you have.

Thanks this was driving me crazy! Also you can use something like:

Voicemail Notification <voicemail@domain.com> for a fully qualified message.
