Sms Servicce on my site

Hi there everyone
i have my own website.
i would like to have an application such that when any user enters their mobile number on my website, i should be able to send an sms to that mobile number for free from my website.
it actually means that i should be able to sms anyone for free from my website to any mobile number.
Can this be developed in a java application ?or is there any other way I can do this?

No, It doesn't mean for free, you will still have to pay for a gateway into the mobile networks and buy message credits. No Airtime provider I have heard of gives free airtime.

We use clickatell.com for our SMS sending. It's about the same price as any of the others but it has such a variety of interface methods that it's really neat.
