How can I get a report on a registry entry from the systems?

yup, you have to edit your sms_def.mof to retrieve the reg key you want, and send it out to all clients to recompile on each box

I do this so if you are still stuck, let me know and I can send you a sample sms_def.mof addition and mofcomp.exe script.
