SMS client causing checkdisks

I have noticed that when I installed the SMS client onto machines (so far only NT4.0 machines) using the SMSMan.exe utilty a few of them tend to perform checkdisks upon boot up.

SP6a has been re-applied.

I have yet to un-install the client to see if this resolves the issue.

Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, what measures can fix this problem?
