Smells /smokes on Partner II/R 4.1

OK. First question.

I had a problem with a lights that seem to go on/off when no
one (besides me) is in office. (See thread phantom ring...)

Next question.

I took all cards out of the 5 slot carrier, and plugged in a
older 3.0 CPU card into it.
I then added a 206 version 2 card, but then it started
to SMOKE.

Any ideas on whether card is repairable or upgradable??

Not upgradable, but if it was just the power supply smoking this can be fixed. If the main board was smoking then your chances are much smaller of it being repairable.
