Sounds like a question for TAPIT EX since its their software.
The SMDR just spits out info for the 3rd party software.

yes all you can do with the smdr is tell it the baud rate
which format to use for print out (sl1,(single line)or norstar,(multi line)
print call display or not
print account codes or not
it has no buffer , just prints after each call
