I have set up a 2003 server with a .com domain name example" example.com". I know its not the best way but it's done. I have two questions one is how do i keep it from going out to example.com? I get several netlogon errors on under event viewer with the IP of example.com listed. It seems to me my server is trying to contact example.com's server. If i try to go to example.com's website it cannot find it. Reason being its looking at the domain as example.com not the real website. Is their a way to fix this?

Next question is before I put the AD server in place I could go to yahoo.com now for some reason I can't go to yahoo.com although it seems to work for a little bit, then not work, then work, then not work. I have all clients using the DNS of the 2003 server and I have forwarders set to go to the ISP DNS. I'm not quite sure how to fix the problem any help would be greatly appreciated.
