I have an offce currently served by an Partner system. Now they want to spend 2 days a week at our main site with a G3si verision 12.1. Sites are connected via point to point T1 for data right now. First Thought is an IP office to replace the partner and link it to the G3 via IP trunks. What are some other options I might have?

I just got a g350 to replace a partner. Alot more money that the IP office. But the programming is the same, so you don't need to learn something else. Also, all features are exactly the same at both sights.

I did the same connected via IP trunks and shared the intuity audix at the main sight. Works good. You will need to think about QOS for your IP trunks as 1 PTP is not alot of bandwidth for both voice and data.

Let me add a bit more. Already have Cisco 2620 at each end of the T1 to support Qos. Intuity audix at the G3, and a S8100 at another site linked back to the G3 via IP trunks. S8100 only has pots lines for backup and uses the IP trunks for all calls. I don't know if I want to do the same in this instance, the partner and G3 are in different central offices and would have to change phone numbers to run directly out of the G3 over IP trunks to the partner site.
Could I link the G3 and Partner together some how without making a mess to administer?
I think the g350 will be out of our price range.
