Morning
I recently upgraded from CM3 to CM5 this included several LSP's. I am now installing several G430's on the same network, I have made sure everything is on the correct version of software/firmware and all seems well. Except, when the link to the main server goes down, the phones (1608's) first look to the main server and then to the G430, but do not log on. I have enabled SLS and when you log onto the gateway the first thing it tells you is that SLS is enabled. I did the install pretty much by the book and everything I check says it should be working, when the phones are logged onto to the main server I can ping them from the G430.
There are currently no lines attached to the gateway, that is happening later today.
Many thanks
Alan

I am currently configuring SLS through CLI, does the G430 not get any information from the main server?
Do you have put all the information in for every station, module, bri, co trunk, trunk grp and dial pattern in for it to work?
Thanks
Alan

Do not forget ip-codec en fac (to dial out).
Don't think this is mentioned in the manual.

For SLS you have to manually enter each survivable extensions details as well as the trunks.

I have a PDF with all the steps if you want it.
