Greetings...

It seems I am having difficulty spooling a large, graphically intense file from Win2k Pro to HP Business Inkjet 2600 printer that is installed on a local TCP/IP port, not to a networked print server. I have PCL5 and PS drivers installed, but am using PS to print. The printer has expanded memory to 176MB. Computer has 512MB RAM, but the partition that I'm printing my file from is pretty full. I upgraded firmware of JetDirect card to latest for the printer. The file spools about .1MB per second and for an 82MB file, that takes a really long time to spool. Am I be unrealistic in that it takes about 30 minutes to spool??

Don't print directly to the printer, let the PC sppol the jobs and then send it to the printer
