I am running a Duron 800 on a Soltek 75KAV mobo, 128MB PC133 sdram. All my drives (10.8 GB UDMA66 Fujitsu HDD, 40X Cd ROM ,32x8x4 CDR and floppy) are performing much slower than optimum. I have had previous trouble with this mobo and am wondering whether to give up on it (its still under warranty) Any comments from other users would be appreciated.

Got one of those motherboards, installed the 4-1 drivers for it and it slowed right down. Uninstalled them and it now seems ok.
Run the setup programme again (for the drivers) and tick the uninstall radio button to get rid of them. Dont know what they do but they seemed to be mucking with the hard drive transfer speeds. The motherboard seems to work well enough without them.
hope this helps.
