Hello
3 identical Windows 2000 Servers w/SP4 MFR/FR3
Microsoft Office XP w/SP3
I noticed this post over on citrix.com but never saw a resolution.
Sporadically, a user(s) session will hang while working in Outlook 2002. When this hang happens, it DOES NOT affect any other user on the same machine or anything.. The best fix we've found, is reset the users connection and have them log back on. We can kill the process via the taskmgr, but that doesn't free them up as good as logging off and then back on.
I've removed the CTFMON.exe deal, but that didn't help. I do notice that with word as an email editor, the winword.exe process begins to consume a lot of memory.. Killing that process alone does help sometimes, but not affectivly..
Anyone had this issue with Office xp? I'd sure be nice to find a solution. Oh yeah, there's no errors at all in the event logs before, during, and after the problem.. ???
