Hey All,
I have a W2K AD domain with 80 users running W2K pro and Office 97. All drive mappings are done using NET USE via login scripts. My Documents are being redirected to the users home directory via AD home folder group policy redirection. All users have roaming profiles.
Users are complaining that it sometimes take a very long time to save Word documents. I am thinking it is due to the deletion of the .tmp file as I can watch the files closing via Computer Management/Open Files on the server where the files are and it seems to slow on the .tmp files.
Anyone know of a fix/solution to this issue? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
