We have set up an Exchange 2000 server and have windows XP/Outlook XP clients connecting to it. These clients also have the Netware client installed. We have a problem with Outlook taking minutes to connect to Outlook. We removed IPX/SPX from one of the clients and that worked. We have all settings set to IP as the preffered protocol but still the slow access problem. Anyone any ideas?

TIA.

If you ping the exchange server name from the workstations, does it resolve to the IP address quickly ??

If it doesn't resolve quickly, or at all - you might have a config problem with DNS on the workstations, which should eb your next step.
