Hi,
I need to display all my ReportNet reports in excel formats. There are some reports which are displaying very very slowly in excel format.but for the same report and same parameters it is coming up pretty fast.(I know that in html format, query results are put in page wise but where as in excel it dumps the whole reusltset).
The volume would be around 20,000 - 25,000 rows in excel.Repor is taking around 7-9 minutes to come up.
Is there any way or tip to make the reports run in excel format much more faster?
Has anyone faced such a problem?i dont think 20,000 rows in excel is a large volume.
I would appreciate if anyone can please give me tips on this issue.
Thanks in aadvance
Madraj

How long does it take to render in pdf? Keep in mind that once ReportNet has retrieved all of the data, it is the Excel engine that generates the charts/crosstabs. This means that a lot of things happen behind the scenes, like formatting checks for example.
