Slow Refresh

Hi

This is probably a very simple answer somewhere but I can't find it.
My applications created in MS VB 2008 EE are very slow to repaint when they are uncovered in Windows. (OK, 1/2 a second) It's the controls that seem to be the problem.
This is after they have been installed as full programs on separate machines as well.

Is there an easy way to fix this, it just makes them look amateurish!

try Refresh()

Similarly, if it's a particular control, you can refresh that control.
