Slow Meeting Accept Response

I am running Exch 5.5 with all the current SP and hotfixes and such on NT 4 (sp 6a). All clients run an Outlook 2000 client.

I have some users who when they try to respond to a meeting request (accept, decline, tenative) the message window hangs for about 10 seconds or so and then goes away.

The function does work like it's supposed to but I'm wondering why they are seeing this latency when working with these meeting requests?

Any ideas anybody?
