Slow loading of personal settings

Hey out there,

I have a network of about 5 clients (all running Win XP and Win2000 Pro) under a Wind 2003 domain.

I have noticed that whenever clients logon the domain it
takes too long to load personal settings.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Check your DNS setup your clients should look to your internal DNS server (usually installed on a DC) for their DNS NOT to your ISP.

I agree with Porkchop, thats the most likely problem - if your using roaming profiles you might also want to look at the size of those
