I have set up 4 56K Dynalink External modems to a Windows 2000 server. I can dial up and authenticate on all OK but the best speed I can get is 33.6 (If I use an external Dynalink then I can get 56K.)
This doesn't help much as the Managers have Compaq E500 or IBM Thinkpad 600 laptops and are complaining about the speed being inadequate.
Are there initalisation strings I can use to get a better connection or is there a setting I'm missing to get the best connection?
